When Riveridge first bought the land in 2003, they started with 220 acres and used it to exclusively grow apples. Since that time, Mark has worked to increase the area to 770 acres. They’ve also diversified their crops by adding 12 acres of sweet cherries and 4 acres of blueberries. There is even a greenhouse for raspberries. In total, the orchards produced more than 200,000 bushels of fruit last year.
