LaJoie Growers, LLC is run by 5th and 6th generation family members Lucas, Dominic, Gilbert and Jay in the St. John River Valley of Northern Maine. The farm operates 1300 acres of produce, potatoes and grain crops that are sold for chipping, processing, fresh markets and seed. The farm has 35 tractors to manage the field crops. The LaJoie family uses a GPS system that plots the tractor’s course and allows the tractor to drive itself and plant rows of potatoes. LaJoie Growers is Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) certified by the USDA.
