Description

Ferolbink Farms was founded in 1870. Jason Peckham, a 5th generation family member currently operates the 275 acre farm, and one of his daughters runs the farm's seasonal bed and breakfast. The farm was named after Jason's mother, whose first name was Ferol and his father, whose nickname was Bink. Ferolbink Farm is the largest potato producer in Rhode Island.  The land they work on is considered prime farmland because of its carbon-rich attributes, water holding capacity and Newport soil, some of the richest soil in the area.
