The DeGroot family, a Dutch immigrant family, has operated the DeGroot’s Vegetable Farms since the 1930s.  In the 1970s, the farm expanded from a retail stand/truck to a wholesale grower for vegetable processors and distributors. DeGroot’s is Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) certified.  You may have eaten DeGroot’s peppers at Chipotle.
