Originally called Pineview Farms, the Coombs Family Farm was established by William Alderman in the late 1700s as a 167-acre vegetable and dairy farm. Today, Coombs Farms stretches 1500 acres and is proudly run by the 9th generation. Coombs Farms grows golf course quality sod, potatoes, grain and other crops and even supplies carrots and potatoes to Campbell Soup Company.  They are dedicated to crop rotation and solid farming practices.
